Dough Street

As someone who has been diagnosed as Coeliac their whole life, it is so nice to be able to go to a cafe and know everything is safe for me to eat. Instead of having to live vicariously through those in my family who can eat gluten. The food is hands down the best I have ever had. It's always a struggle decide what to get. Thank you Dough Street you've made my childhood dreams come true.

It’s so nice to have so many options for foods that I normally can’t eat! Sometimes I’m just absolutely craving a ham & cheese croissant and yours just hit the spot Of course gluten free will never taste exactly like regular or have the exact same texture, but in my opinion you guys are the best in Perth for making your own versions of delicious foods that always satisfy! The staff are also always lovely and friendly, even when it’s busy Thank you for pumping out so many hot cross buns this Easter weekend - they reeeally hit the spot. I’ll be sad when my freezer stash runs out haha!

Great gluten free bakery! The pastry is so light and flakey! It’s great to be able to find a place with so many gf options! Ham and cheese croissant and the sausage roll was 10/10! Coffee was also great! Be prepared to spend a little bit of time in line because it’s always poppin inside!

Well, what can I say about Dough Street? It’s basically the only fully gluten-free place that’s always packed, and honestly, it’s easy to see why. The quality of the food is just top-notch. They offer things we gluten-free folks had pretty much given up on, and somehow make them taste even better than we remembered. The staff? Super attentive, friendly, and clearly know what they’re doing. Sure, the tables wobble a bit and the space is on the small side… but when the food’s this good, who even cares? You’ll be too busy enjoying every bite to notice. Absolutely worth it. Update: I treated myself to some goodies at Tough Street again today. Unfortunately, the quality seems to be slipping a bit, the croissant wasn’t as crispy as usual and, to top it off, I ended up with stomach cramps. Hopefully just a one-time thing! Dropping one star for now. ⭐

Great spot for delicious pastries! I tried the mushroom and the ham & cheese danishes both were nice, though a little on the oily side. If you’re not into oily food, you might want to keep that in mind. The place was super busy on Sunday morning, which shows how popular it is. Overall, really delicious pastries and definitely worth trying. Highly recommend!

Popped in here for the first time this morning and oh my word… Firstly the SMELL from down the road is to die for. Absolutely delicious Secondly the girls were cheery and welcoming. Thirdly the COFFEE was spot on, soy latte was 10/10 The food all looked absolutely unreal, my only upset was that I’m vegan so couldn’t purchase every item on offer because it all looked so so good. Highly recommend

The BEST gluten free bakery in Perth! I highly recommend it to anyone — whether you're coeliac or just love amazing pastry. The pan au chocolat, cinnamon bun, and croissant are unreal. Flaky, buttery, and 100% gluten free. And it doesn’t stop there — there are so many options, from sweet to savoury: think fresh focaccia, loaded sandwiches, and more. If you're in Perth, this place is an absolute must

Currently having what can only be described as a religious experience enjoying my ham + cheese croissant and PB cookie. In all my 31 years as a coeliac, having literally travelled the world and moved to the opposite end of the country in search of gluten free goodness - perfection has been achieved in my little old home town of all places. It seems I may have been fortunate being served in a matter of minutes, however I would happily wait time and time again for the best gluten free baked goods I have ever experienced. Do not be dissuaded by any complaints regarding quality. I’ve done my time - this is as good as it gets as far as I’m concerned. Looking forward to many returns in future, my only regret is that all pastries in future will be compared to this!
